VIET NAM TO GRANT E-VISAS TO ALL FOREIGN ARRIVALS FROM 15TH AUGUST, 2023
This is a major change that will make it much easier for foreign tourists and business travelers to visit Vietnam. Previously, e-visas were only valid for 30 days, which was not enough time for many people to see all that Vietnam has to offer. The new 90-day validity period will allow visitors to stay longer and explore more of the country.

VIETNAM TO LAUNCH NEW E-VISA WITH 3-MONTH VALIDITY
The Vietnamese government has announced that it will launch a new e-Visa on August 15th, 2023. The new e-Visa will be valid for up to 90 days, multiple entries, the length of each stay is 30 days. This is a significant increase from the current 30-day single-entry e-Visa.
The new e-Visa will be expanded to nationals of 157 countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, …and many countries in Africa. To apply for the new e-Visa, applicants will need to provide their passport information, travel dates, and contact information. The application process will be entirely online, and the visa fee will be affordable for all foreign citizens in the world.
The launch of the 3-month e-Visa is a major step forward for Vietnam’s tourism industry. The longer validity period will make it easier for travelers to plan longer trips to Vietnam, and the multiple-entry option will make it easier for travelers to make multiple trips to the country.
SOME TIPS TO USE VIETNAM VISA EXEMPTION EFFECTIVELY
According to the Vietnamese government, the new rules, to be released on 15th August, will allow foreigners to apply for multiple-entry e-visas for stays of up to 90 days. In addition, the visa-free period for citizens of countries with unilateral Vietnam visa exemption will be changed from 15 days to 45 days.

– The new visa policy will not affect the visa exemption policy. Citizens of countries that are currently eligible for visa exemption will still be able to enter Vietnam without a visa. In case, they want to stay longer than the Visa exemption period, they can apply for the e-Visa.
– Citizens of countries with unilateral Vietnam visa exemption have 15 days Visa Exemption will be changed into 45 days visa-free.
– Citizens from countries which are not eligible for the e-Visa can apply for the Visa on arrival or Visa at Vietnam Embassy.
