Ha Long Bay is a beautiful natural wonder in northern Vietnam, near the Chinese border. The Bay is dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets and covers an area of over 1,500 sq km. This extraordinary area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Most of the islands and the karst limestone pillars in the bay are uninhabited and unaffected by human activity. In fact, there is a large zone including Halong Bay in the center, Bai Tu Long Bay in the North East and Cat Ba Island with Lan Ha Bay in the South West. Bai Tu Long Bay is also located in Quang Ninh province but Lan Ha Bay belongs to Hai Phong City. Although three bays share the same geographical characteristics and similar scenery of limestone islands, Halong Bay is the most visited thanks to the World’s Natural Heritage Site recognition while Bai Tu Long and Lan Ha Bay are less renowned but more pristine landscapes that enchant more and more tourists recently.

08h00 – 08h30: The bus and our tour guide pick you up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quater to Halong Bay.

11h45: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor, welcome aboard, and safety briefing. Start the 6-hour journey to explore Halong Bay, passing through thousands of limestone islets, including Cock Fighting and Thumb, while enjoying mouth-watering Vietnamese lunch on the boat.

13h45: Arrive at Bo Hon archipelago, A tour guide will escort you to visit Surprising (Sung Sot) Cave to see a lot of stalagmites and stalactites with different shapes of rock formation, then go kayaking or bamboo boat rowing in Luon Cave to discover a beautiful lagoon.

15h30: Visit Titov Island, relax on the sandy beach, or climb up to Titov Island peak for a panoramic view of the Bay.

16h30: Returning to the ship for a Sunset Party, enjoying coffe, tea, fruits and Vietnam Traditional Music as the ship cruises back to Tuan Chau Harbor.
