5-Day Northern & Central Vietnam Highlights Tour
Start in Hanoi – End in Da Nang
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel in central Hanoi.
Take time to relax or explore the Old Quarter on your own.
Optional: Join a street food tour or watch the traditional water puppet show in the evening.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Full-Day Halong Bay Cruise
After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay (approx. 2.5 hours).
Board a traditional boat and embark on a 4–5 hour cruise through this UNESCO World Heritage site.
Marvel at thousands of limestone karsts rising from emerald waters.
Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch on board and explore limestone caves or go kayaking (optional).
Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Full-Day Ninh Binh Tour – Evening Flight to Da Nang
Travel to Ninh Binh, often called “Halong Bay on land.”
Visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam.
Take a peaceful sampan boat ride through the stunning landscapes of Trang An or Tam Coc, passing rice paddies and limestone mountains.
Climb to the viewpoint at Mua Cave for panoramic views (optional but recommended).
Return to Hanoi in the afternoon and transfer to the airport for an evening flight to Da Nang.
Arrive in Da Nang, transfer to hotel.
Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 4: Full-Day Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge
After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Ba Na Hills.
Ride the Ba Na Cable Car, one of the longest in the world.
Visit the iconic Golden Bridge, held by giant stone hands above the clouds.
Explore French Village, Fantasy Park, and Linh Ung Pagoda.
Lunch is served at a hilltop restaurant.
Return to Da Nang in the late afternoon.
Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 5: Da Nang – Free Time & Departure
Enjoy your last morning at leisure – relax at My Khe Beach, stroll along the Han River, or shop for local souvenirs.
Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Da Nang International Airport for your departure.
